"I've always wanted and waited to find someone who was worth risking it all for, because this journey is not always an easy one for people like us."

To say that Michael and Miguel's wedding day was perfect isn't enough. I was speechless after hearing their impeccable vows. Not only did they both write with grace and wit, but their genuine delivery and vulnerability was powerful. They actually bared their hearts for each other, with their closest friends and family gathered close. The love was nearly tangible in a way that I've never felt before.

I've been friends with M & M for years, and becoming closer with them through this process was a true gift! I traveled to Seattle, WA for their day, along with the majority of their wedding guests, and this weekend had everything going for it, so I knew it couldn't disappoint. I was floored by the excellence they created with their team of vendors, especially the out-of-this-world floral design by Britlyn Simone Floral. Watching their film back, it's clear that their crew had more fun than I even expected. From traveling around town with their party to leaving it ALL on the dance floor by the end of the evening, the excitement and energy NEVER ended. Still, looking back on the weekend, the bond I saw between these two remains top of mind.

"You always hear people say that, in order to find love, you first have to find yourself. For me, it was the other way around. When I realized that I finally found my person, it forced me to not just accept but also own and love all those things about me that I thought I should hide."
