As a wedding filmmaker, my number one goal is to take you back to the sights and sounds of a moment, to recreate that indescribable feeling. On your one-year wedding anniversary, your entire wedding day can be recalled before your eyes. Five years later, you'll be able to hear the crowd cheer as you’re announced as a wedded couple. In ten years, your family can see your grandparents' moves on the dance floor. In thirty years, your children or grandchildren will be able to hear your voice quiver and shake in your vows. Remembering these special moments is life-giving and absolutely essential. When the perfect day is over too quickly and the flowers begin to wilt, this video can take you back. Every time I work with a couple as their wedding videographer, I’m honored to lend my talents and skills to capture these events and preserve the happy memories into your wedding film.
When my parents talk fondly of their “hottest August day” wedding in 1983, my brain overflows with questions. They have a small photo album and one grainy video of their ceremony, courtesy of my grandfather’s new camcorder. I’ve spent a lot of time wishing I could hear their vows, that I could watch my mom and her father walk down the aisle, that I could hear my dad’s goofy laugh that sounds just like mine.
Throughout my life and my career thus far, an attraction toward documenting big life events remains strong. That constant pull is a dream to be able to fulfill, and my experiences telling the love stories of my couples helps me remain passionate about each day I work in the wedding and film industries. My wedding films capture the expansive spectrum of genuine emotion throughout a party like this one- wild and lavish, powerful but soft, detailed yet unexpected, all while prominently focusing on the two of you, your loved ones, and your remarkable love story as a pair.
