If you ever need advice on how to throw a damn PARTY, talk to Cynthia. Everyone at the reception following the ceremony came with a plan to have a fantastic night, only elevated by great food, drink, music, and friends.

Cynthia and Jorge were married in a small ceremony several years ago. When she reached out to me initially, Cynthia let me know that it was so important to them to bring their clan together to celebrate their love as a group. Her ‘thank you’ speech in the beginning of their film rings even more heartfelt when you realize how long they waited for a chance to have their dat.

La Vibora de la Mar, which translates to ‘The Sea Snake’, has gotta be one of my favorite wedding traditions that I’ve ever seen. The couple jumps onto seats and are held up by guests, while the rhythm of music is gets faster and faster. The guests struggling to keep the "snake" together, while running all around the room- through tables, chairs and the couple. It’s a real crowd pleaser and a classic tradition at Latin-American weddings.
