Jami and I have been friends since we met in 2012 back in Nashville! I’ve always thought she was among the coolest people I’ve shared a friendship with, and how she followed her dreams has always inspired me even as we’ve both been on our separate paths.

When I went into wedding videography during my college years, she was always a fan of my work and often said “Whenever I get married, you have to film it!” The fact that she and Drew followed through with having me there for the wedding all these years later was, pardon the cheesiness, simply the best! During the reception I heard from so many of her guests that she had been mentioning how excited she and Drew were that I was their videographer, and I don’t think I know the words to express just how much that means to me. This job can be a lonely one, but to hear that it makes a difference in someone’s life really helps remind me of my purpose. Just being there was exciting enough, but getting to turn those moments into memories for a friend never gets old!

Jami and Drew have such a unique sense of style, and there are so many gems in the details on this day that reflect their individuality and love as a couple. The cocktails named after their cats and the “Til death” banner are standouts. But my favorite moment of the day? As always, the vows really took me to an emotional place. UGH 🥲
