Read MoreBeyond thrilled to share the promo for the 2019 Kindling Arts Festival, here in Nashville! I’ve been digging this bright and bold monochromatic style for so long, and I’m so grateful my friend and producer Daniel Jones trusted me and worked alongside me to bring this to life. He didn’t bat an eye when I was so excited to put a goldfish into the mix! Such a blast to plan, to produce, and to watch.
This upcoming weekend, these faces and plenty of others are presenting work they’re proud to share, and I can’t wait to see it. Support local and original art, my friends! 💜🧡💜🧡💜 #spreadthefire
In conjunction with the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee, I was honored to help tell the stories of the impact domestic violence has on families and our community. The family members of Lexus Harper, Suzanne and Crystal Daugherty, and Letitia Lane who shared their stories were so lovely to meet, and I’m grateful for their willingness to tell their stories, alongside the inspiring Rusty Powell.
If you or a loved one needs help, please contact our 24-hour Crisis & Support Helpline 1-800-334-4628 or visit the YWCA website.
Artists that yearn to push the boundaries are worthy of celebrating. I'm pumped to show you this promo I created alongside the people of the Kindling Arts Festival, featuring SO much local talent. The 2018 festival is the inaugural run of the event, and I was so excited when their founders Jessika and Daniel reached out to me to create their building-tour promo video. Several venues throughout the Wedgewood-Houston area of Nashville, including Track One (as seen in our promo) and AbrasiveMedia, are hosting performances by Suspended Gravity, Laura Peek, Madeleine Hicks' Potty Mouth, Numinous Flux Dance Company, and so many more!
Shoutout to Alanna Royale, who allowed us to use her track "Big Time Me" for this video. Just another nod to talented folks in Nashville. Thanks for checking out the promo!
